Top notch FBO's
Hi guys. Looking to get some recommendations of places with superior FBO's. Could be in Canada or the States, but looking for places within 150NM of Toronto and Montreal.

Avjet FBO at CYQB. You pay well for the service though. Landmark Aviation at KSYR is decent.
Guess it depends on what your definition of superior is. Mine's typically inexpensive fuel and a courtesy car. Everything after that it gravy.

Kelly Western in YWG is pretty good by Canadian standards, don't stop there much anymore.
I think once you have been to pretty much any US FBO you realize what third world service we have in Canada

+ 1! I mean YQB might be good -- have you looked at the fees? . Teterboro is cheaper!. wrote:Kelly Western in YWG is pretty good by Canadian standards, don't stop there much anymore.

One place nice where they fuel you I was recently there. Gore bay. Very friendly, pretty approach too over the water. Goderich is nice, too. Lots of friendly folks in Canada in some of the smaller places but not much service or facilities necessarily.
+ 1 on burlington VT, too.

This is so true. I've never experienced service anywhere in Canada that comes close to that of the average FBO in the USA (in my limited experience anyway). Competition is a good thing!. wrote: I think once you have been to pretty much any US FBO you realize what third world service we have in Canada

And why is this site not sticky'd at the top of this forum? All this time I've been using crap sites like Airnav. Completely unacceptable!Brantford Beech Boy wrote:http://www.fbohotties.com

Avjet CYQB is great and no ramp fees if you take a minimum of jet fuel.
Avitat CYOW is ok also and no fees with some jet fuel.
Most others I use in Toronto will charge ramp fees even if you take their expensive fuel.

Landmark in SYR is great. Jetsmart in ROC was probably the niceset and biggest FBO I've been to. Prior at BUF has good brand new crew cars and the front desk folks are nice enough. Thunder at FCM was good. Minot Aero Center at MOT was really good. The best Canadian FBO I've been to is probably the Shell Aerocenter at YQR.

I always liked going in to Starlink in yul.
Nice "folks" working there, a BMW for a crew car and Z took great care of us. Like pit row for F1 great care.
