Not sure I fully agree with that. A blind flair is very different to one where you can see and takes a different set of skills. Not relevant to the 172 discussion however.

This thread is so funny. Nobody appears to understand what redlaser is doing. People say he doesn't know how to fly or he is an instructor :))))))). I dare to say he is not even a real person. If you look at his posts, most of them are on controversial issues. His role is to create activity on the forum. Why? Did you notice the ads at the top of each page of a thread?

I was told by an old pilot that airline pilots were not paid to fly but paid to be there when the sh!t hits the fan.

I know, hey! Doesn't it make you mad that the stick manufacturers won't stick with one model for more than a year or so? Just when you find one you like, it breaks and that model is no longer available, sheesh. And let's not get started on the price of sticks nowadays........

What do you mean better? They can spot the ground coming at them better than one who's never been in the air before?

I find that as I age, my reading comprehension is really on the decline. For example, I have no f@cking idea what this means.

A potential student once asked a Flight instructor how hard was it to fly a plane and his answer was " you pull and it goes up you push and it goes down" that's all there is to it, Same goes for all airplane sizes, And rule number one is " Don't hit the ground!

Odds that redlaser and Nickynick know each other? They also might know that guy who always chirps up about variable tailwinds causing accidents.
