Socata TBM

Post by Hozer »

Hey There,

I'm looking to get an contact with any TBM current or former owners out there. Looking for the good and the bad, true operating costs per hour etc. If you had to do it again would buy the TBM or op for something different. Thanks.

No toilet, small cabin, Expensive French parts and I worry about it in the ice, as there has been a few ice related accidents. I would get a PC12 same fuel burn, hauls a ton and it is a champ in all wx ops and gravel/grass strips.

I'm not sure the accident report points to any fault of the airplane, other than the FCSOV being closed. It crashed because the pilot lost control.

Thanks for the info guys.

The plane will be based in FL and mainly used in the SE US, with the occasional trip up to the NE.
