Calm Air ATR Engine Failures

What seems to be going on in YTH?

Narrative:
A Calm Air Aerospatiale ATR 42-320 (C-FCIJ/CAV8669) from Thompson, MB (CYTH) to Rankin Inlet, NU (CYRT) declared an emergency due to the failure of the #1 engine. Emergency medical services (EMS) were contacted. The aircraft returned to the point of departure and landed Runway 06 without further incident.

Narrative:
A Calm Air Aerospatiale ATR 72-202 (C-GPBR/CAV503) from Thompson, MB (CYTH) to Gillam, MB (CYGX) experienced a double engine failure while taxiing for departure on Runway 06. The aircraft requested assistance, and Thompson Fire and Ambulance responded and advised that there was no smoke or flame on the aircraft. The aircraft was evacuated while on the runway. Runway 06/24 was closed for approximately 10-15 minutes with no impact to any other aircraft or operations
