Hi,
Just wondering if TSO certification is a big deal for canadian airlines and if I should return Zulu 3 for bose a20 or dc one-x? I just dont wanna spend another grand anytime soon. I'm flying daily and hoping to get CPL with IFR group 1 and Multi Engine rating within 1-2 years and a job with small airlines within 5-6 years(Fingers crossed).
Thanks!
Just got Zulu 3 but it's not TSO certified. Does it matter?

No. No one cares.

Well I would not say "no one cares" but it most likely may never be a problem. However equipment in aircraft like headsets are required by law to be TSO meeting the set standard.
If ever an employer requires a TSO product you may need to pony up and purchase another headset.
Lightspeed is a good headset however my choice is a David Clark. My 30 year old DC 10 20 still works like a charm. 10000 hours on it!
I now use the DC Pro x in the B737. Great headset!
