CYTZ Porter Parking fees
Parking fees are up again at CYTZ.
Piston $60 per day,
TBM $145
King Air $250.
I know Porter owns the FBO but who owns the ramp at CYTZ?
Porter... Keep raising the parking rates and you will have the airport to yourself.
Im sure they already know that.
What are they building on the south side of the airport?

Re: CYTZ Porter Parking fees
They would have to build a tunnel under the runway to bring passenger back ??

Re: CYTZ Porter Parking fees
It's a run-up facility for maintenance. Directs the noise and jet blast up to keep the neghbours happier. As for the parking fees; if you don't like them, park at the other downtown airport.
Re: CYTZ Porter Parking fees
The run up facility is already complete; there's another building under construction.
DId you hear the one about the jurisprudence fetishist? He got off on a technicality.
Re: CYTZ Porter Parking fees
Or have a taxiway or roadway for people movers to drive them .skymarc wrote:They would have to build a tunnel under the runway to bring passenger back ??

Re: CYTZ Porter Parking fees
Try Stolport, on east side of airport. Good bunch of guys to deal with and their rates are competitive relatively speaking. I personally have not flown and parked my aircraft there but I've inquired and had a tour of their FBO and I left with a good impression.
The website shows the rates for the FBO and they are considerably cheaper than the alternative. General aviation seems to be on life support in the GTA especially for the average Canadian. Good luck.
Their website is showing $25 daily $35 for each 24 hours. They do have a monthly rate and also an annual rate and I believe this will offset the Port Authority landing fee.
FBO number Stolport 416.361.1100
Cheers
