I graduated from aircraft maint. College about 2 years ago. I did it because I had a passion for aviation and I enjoyed being around aircraft and sometimes even getting some "hands on" time. Ive always dreamt about becoming an airline pilot but I never have been able to save up enough for it. My problem is I just started with a comoany about 2-3 months ago as an apprentice but im not really enjoying the work and its quite frankly killing my enjoyment in aviation as a whole. Ive never been all that into mechanics in general and only did this so I could get experience working on aircraft.
I have 2 questions. One is, if I quite after the probation will it look bad on my resume for the future and my possible flying career? Second question is, has any one here ever gone through this and been successful in the commercial pilot side or know of any pilots who quit before they were licensed AMEs?
