WestWind shut down
Will they transfer all their assets to TransWest and continue with business as usual starting tommorow?

Re: WestWind shut down
Not even an option especially for the ATR. That would take months if it’s not on their AOC.
Even if it was on the AOC, the deficiencies in operational control at Westwind would likely immediately follow over to Transwest. Training alone takes days even if it’s the same type. You just can’t transfer a plane overnight.
I have no idea how those two have set up their working relationship but clearly it’s separate AOC’s.
They voluntarily parked their aircraft a couple of years ago due to training issues identified by TC. It may have come up again. Training issues are not generally intentional but crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s is critIcal and will burn you.

Their Facebook page says Transwest scheduled service is still running, so likely all the bookings have moved over to Transwest Saabs.
