That was freaky, I got into IFR conditions once at night with about 65hrs..
I remember hearing my instructors voice in my head "If it happens, remember the scan, steady as she goes and point'er back the other way my friend". That poor chap was definetly scared shitless for his life!

I normally don't go around looking for this sort of stuff, but after hearing it for myself i think its a good tool to get a message around. It sure scared the crap outta me and now with my solo night cross country coming up I might just be hititng the sim alittle more
I hope everyone gets atleast soemthing outta this audio clip...
take your time getting that weather.
keep ahead of your airplane.
Aviate, Navigate, and communicate.
and of course the hardest part.. knowing when to say NO

Truly that is scary stuff. Unfortunatly for understandable reason's the morningstar recording was removed from this forum. I did get a chance to listen to it before it was removed. All I can say is there was one Calm and collected lady durring a time of destress. That too could be used as a training aid as to how not to loss your head in a time of distress. Unfortunatly she was not given the same second chance for staying calm and collected.
God Bless her
