Grade 9 girls summer camp

If anyone here knows a young girl going from grade 9 to 10 this summer, and is looking for an all expense paid week long summer camp looking at various aviation related careers, check out the above link.

Why is it only for girls?

Shouldn't there should be equal opportunity for my son to participate? Or are 9 year old boys already unfairly advantage compared to their female classmates in their school with a female administration and female dominated faculty?

Maybe we should have pre-med school summer camps for boys only since females outnumber them in nearly every Canadian university medical school. Of course I don't really think that, the kids with the marks and drive should get the opportunity, boy/girl/other...

It's time PC elitist causes be shelved.

2 things. (Not my program, so this is only 2nd hand information)

1. This is in part being advanced by Elevate Aviation, a group of women in Aviation who are promoting aviation careers for females.

2. This is the first year of the program, and if it goes well, then there may be 2 intakes next summer, one for girls and and one for boys.

Also, (from what I’ve heard) because of the logistical and this camp, coed courses are not an option.

I have given my Daughter all the info, but she's stuck on Law School.. much to my disdain!
Although I can likely use a good Lawyer!
