International Experience

Post by LegoMan »

When a company is requiring international experience does that just mean outside of Canada? Or outside of North America? Trans-oceanic?

If you mentioned where "a company" is located it would be helpful.

I see this mainly for jet management companies - Skyservice, Execaire, etc.

I would imagine they mean dealing with international travel between two countries, like flying from one country to another while adhering to both country's regulations. If they didn't specify experience with US travel, but just say international, it sounds like they mean flight to another continent.

It is aircraft specific. If its a Citation job, international experience means USA, Mexico & Carribean. If it's a Global express, it means worldwide. Look at where the Aicraft can get to and that's your answer.
