He could have gotten higher if he took a fam flight in a 172.

So from 1800 feet I assume the earth has been confirmed flat?

Confirmed.

I don't know why these nutbars don't wander over to the edge of the flat disk and just take a picture of the edge. I would think that walking, driving or sailing towards the edge would be a lot easier than almost killing yourself in a home made steam-powered death machine. They can't be afraid of falling off if they're willing to strap themselves into a rocket they built in their garage.
