Well they just extended the Tutor to 2030... and it's already 50-55 years old - so, not surprised.

I mean in the face of it, Sikorsky's proposal makes sense. Common airframe, parts, maintenance etc. However it's not like they have a SAR version ready to go. Just like the Cyclone is the only military variant built. They want to design one for us and haven't even successfully delivered on the other yet.
