Does anyone who works or is looking for work in one of these locations have insight? I assume now is around the time people start to show up in waves to these locations to knock on doors. Is one better than the other?

Hmmmm

Can't speak for the rest, but at McMurray....

RW - Highland, Canadian, Delta and Phoenix Helicopters....all gearing up for the summer (fires)...

FW - McMurray Aviation and Air Mikisew

I would call FIRST....can be exciting with anticipation for the 4 hour drive up from Edmonton...but awful lonely 4 hour drive back if you just show up and nothing available.

Good Luck....

Is this a trick question? Do you have a 4th choice?

There's nobody lurking in Thompson right now. Everybody who's come up since last fall got onto the ramp with less than a months wait.

Out of Control,

You know Paris and I have a thing. Why are you gonna ruin that by getting her pregnant.

Unless i'm mistaken DA, his signature is a particularly tasteless remark aimed at a segment of the female population that earns their living in an unconventional manner. While nobody has ever accused me of shying away from controversial statements, that one is pretty vile. Since, to the best of my knowledge, the Edmonton police and RCMP are still investigating all those deaths, I wonder if they read these forums. Would be amusing to see someone backtracking from his own stupid statements. Would he try to claim, as most politicians do, that he was misquoted?

If i'm wrong, and it is a logging reference, then consider the above retracted. But, in my own defense, you can see how easy it is to misconstrue that signature.

For those of you who take things way too seriously my signature is a quote from the "Family Guy". So relax

Just because you got it off a cartoon doesn't make it any less tasteless; especially with the ongoing Edmonton situation and the pig farm in Surrey.

Did someone say, 4th choice? I am always the 4th and best choice, the choice that will let you have family, a beautiful girl, kids if you want them and mutt that stays where you tell him to. Join me or die, can you do any less?

We ARE hiring!

What's the difference? In all cases, it's going to be about 5 years living in a place that you don't really want to live in, sucking it up while you get the time to move on to something better. You'll meet really great people in all of them, and when you do leave, curiously, you'll find yourself missing the place. Now get in your car, and drive!
