Piper PA 48

Post by Big Pistons Forever »

A discussion at the other place got me looking up the types I have flown. It looks like I have most of the Piper Single Engine types in my logbook but I am definitely missing the PA 48........

I'm hoping for the day I can log some hours in an XB-70.

Added the PA-11 Legend Cub last week to my logbook(might not count as a true Piper). PA-24, Pa-28(Cherokee 140, Archer, Arrow), PA-32(Cherokee Six, Turbo Lance). You got me beat.

I'm still relatively new at flying and managed to collect P28, P28R, J3 & PA24!

my previous post was submitted before I had my coffee. Petty hard to sell an Enforcer to a flying farmer just to hunt goffers

Since you're too much of a butt-munch to post a picture when you make reference to a very arcane aircraft, here's a picture of my last flight -Image

Hey, I put two "funny face" emojis at the bottom. Is that the keyboard action of a grumpy person?

When I was typing it and my computer screen didn't laugh I thought it was just him. Funniness and internetedness don't always synch.

Maybe I should have just used this -

5x5 is upnatem? Do we all have monkey accounts here?

That plane looks like a T-33 with a propeller.

Have you ever seen a T-33? It still looks like a Mustang, minus the bulky Merlin engine with the cooling system.

The tail is way more Mustang looking. Those tip tanks and the nose.. I'm really not defending my position very well. It's been a while but I have seen a few T-33s.

Did you sell your plane? Seemed like a nice one.
