Tuscany. Solely on Airbnb.
Never had a bad experience and all of our hosts were quick to point out the great places locals went to for breakfast/lunch/dinner and more often than not insisted that we taste their home made grappa and have dinner with them.
Came as a tourist not knowing a soul, left after 3 weeks of making great memories and awesome friends.
