Instilling confidence....

Post by Kahlua »

I saw this on an airlines website - pretty sure this does nothing but make people panic about air travel :D

http://www.flyecxpress.com/save_your_life.html

just imagine a person wearing cotton or woll as opposed to synthetics when travelling in the air just so that their clothes might not melt to their skin in the event of a crash. :?

Maybe we could make them all fly slower, and closer to the ground. That should make it more safe.

"In an emergency evacuation, don't pause to grab personal effects. Just go"

Like your children.. lol

"Make sure your seat belt is fastened snugly around your pelvic area, not your stomach. "

So make sure it's tight so when you crash you'll struggle with it and die in your seat. if that's the case disregard,

"If smoke fills the cabin, you may have to feel your way to the exit."

"Pay attention to the flight attendant's safety briefings and instructions. "

Because, that will surely save your life.. "listening" and "acting" are two different things..

"Women shouldn't wear nylon hose."

I've never seen such Sexist remarks.. Friggin pigs..

"Know how to open regular and emergency doors and windows. If flight attendants are incapacitated, you may have to do it"

ROFL, "and work for free!?!"(see o/o thread).

"Always leave shade in your window open during take-off and landings so you can asses the outside conditions. "

Cold in the North, Hot in Africa, now that you know the conditions "good luck."

"Do NOT bring food to the security checkpoint"

Unless you bring enough for everyone.

"Listen to and follow instructions from the flight crew. "

Didn't you just say they maybe incapacitated. Make up your mind, you want me to sit and listen or get my ass to the door?

"Leave your carry-on items aboard the airplane."

Unless they happened to be of importance, like a warm sweater for a winter environment.

"Airplanes have numerous features to help facilitate a speedy evacuation."

They burn real fast, real good.
