I have to ask. How did you handle the call of nature?
I didn’t. I have done other longer flights (6-7+ hrs) and I never had to pee, and I don’t drink or eat: I am afraid to choke and well, there’s nothing I can really do if that happens.

People use pee bags or big bottles (gatorade for example (unstrap, piss, strap-in).
I've always been curious. Does the CF-18 and other aircraft in it's category have decent autopilot? Be a lot more difficult to pee and fly at the same time. I've done it in in a Cessna 185, but that's a bit different, lol.

Also, 9.7 hours would be quiet fatiguing all hand flown in a not-so-stable platform.

The F-18 Flight Control System is phenomenal. At cruise speed, stick force commands a given G so no flrce (hands off) means the aircraft willl hold 1G.It also has Heading/Altitude/Attitude/Coupled modes autopilot.

The Catalina had an endurance of over 24 hours. The “Secret Order of the Double Sunrise” was a name bestowed to those who enjoyed a 24 hour trip on QANTAS operated Catalinas between Perth and Ceylon during the war.
New video just this week. It's like this guy is trolling Avcanada looking for video ideas.

Just thought I would post another interesting question.

Mine was ninteen hours and ten minutes.
It was even more interesting considering it was flown with no autopilot.

And only an ADF ( With B.F.O. ) and an Astro Compass and sectional charts to navigate with.
