The first bit of time at Jazz will be a little tougher, but there will be lots of movement and once you have a bit of seniority, your quality of life will be substantially better at Jazz than Encore.
The base argument is moot. Most FO get their base of choice by the end of line indoc, others not long after 1-2 bid cycles. And with the expected flow over in 2019... If anything changes it will be for the better (faster movement to base of choice)

On a serious note, is there a wait period once you get PFO'd by AC before you can apply again? Or do they just don't want you anywhere near them after that?

Last I heard there’s 2 kinds of PFO. One is sorry but you can reapply after 6 months and the other is basically we wish you the best of luck in your career.....

How is it for upgrades, though? Like lots of carriers... it seems rosy on the first officer side, but going to the other side of the country to sit on reserve for who knows how long doesn’t exactly sound thrilling.

with all the opinion on top, I'd say Jazz in any condition.
Consider Captain upgrade. No Resource for the rumor but I heard upgrade might take less than a year these days...

Will all the Georgian pilots parachuting in ahead of you affect that timeline?
