ALPD outside of Canada
I need to renew my Aviation Document Booklet which expired since the initial issuance after completing FAAAA. As part of the renewal, I need to take a formal assessment of the Aviation Language Proficiency Demonstration (ALPD). As I live in Japan, I was wondering if I could take it without travelling to Canada (because the test is administered over the phone), or I would need to show up at a flight school to do it. I have read the relevant part of the Transport Canada website, but I would like to know how the test is actually handled. Thank you for your input!
