Nice shots. Are they in Alpha jets now, or are those Gnats or whatever they were?

NOT ! You simply don't know your birds! That was a mark-7 Seagull, with a full suite of modern avionics and a VNE dive speed of 145 mph, not to mention a service ceiling of 25,600 feet! This was the last of the variants that I know of ,,,,,,,,,

My wife and I were laughing that , “Sally Seagull ,” is a native of Toronto, always wanted to fly since her mother pushed her out of a tree , her hobbies include scavenging for garbage and annoying tourists.......!

Btw ,a little bird told me that the Snowbirds wanted to watch the Red Arrows perform on the last day, so they performed first, as they are aviation fans like everyone else.

I was there on Saturday with the kids. Sure was neat to see the Arrows. They did an excellent show, and it was great to see some different maneuvers.

One thing the Snowbirds excel at is always having something happening at show centre. Partly because they are slower, but also the way the show is designed. Just a bit more dead air time with the Arrows. But loved em both.

Yes. Saw the Red Arrows. Nice show. Have now seen the arrows, the French team, Italians, Snowbirds, Australian, and the two American teams.

Favourite is a tie between all the European/Snowbirds, followed by the Americans. The Aussies unfortunately have turboprops which are just too slow, even if they were to be the most talented which they could be.

Personal opinion of course.
