It was partly in jest, but my thought was building it as designed to see how advanced Canada was and actually comparing it to the technology of today, real comparison, not assumed. Of course this would require extremely deep pockets, which I don’t have but I’d kick in 20 bucks, :)
Use the P&W F119 off the Raptor, add a little thrust vectoring, combine an exclusive electronic warfare suite and voila. Couple hundred billion later.

Then build it so it can be pilotless and Gen 6 ready.
