AIRCRAFT OVERSHOOTS AT CYHM!
OMG!
I was plane watching at CYHM today, and I could not believe it! It was a nice clear day, and this airplane came in and had to overshoot several times!
I think it was a .... Piper Cherokee! OMG... I bet those pilots were mad! They kept coming in, like they were going to land, and at the last second they'd add power and climb away again, OR, they would touch down, add power and takeoff again! They would fly a big square around the airport and try again! I didn't have a scanner so I couldn't hear the radio convo...Was something wrong with the plane?
It was really weird! I was nervous!

Maybe they just repaved the runway? I hear that some big airports hire guys to do that with special tires so that there is a buidup of rubber on the runway and other planes can grip it better when they are accelerating for take-off.
The only three things a wingman should ever say: 1. "Two's up" 2. "You're on fire" 3. "I'll take the fat one"
