Military Jet landing in YWG today?

Post by Apache64_ »

Just curious, watched 4 military jets land on 36 in ywg today, just wondering if anyone knows what they are. Looked like A4 Skyhawks but I am not sure.

Anyone help me out?

Cheers

It could of been ATSI, they fly A4's. They are a combat air support training company from the states.

I saw the tanker too. Looked like a B707/KC135. Must have been U.S.

I was on 31 while they all landed on 36.

From what I can tell they were all French Mirages. As I rotated I saw them all holding short 31/13.

All of them had French accents.

I think it was Alphajets from what my wife described. Used by TOP ACES as bandits for the CFs.

Could have something to do with RED FLAG going on in the States right now. They had 10 Mirages and a tanker stop over in YWG a few weeks ago enroute to Nellis AFB I believe.

Cheers
