Quick Q, then I'll delete this mother...

Hey everyone

Sorry to clog the board with trivial stuff but I have a question

Got the ATPL today (yay) and it still says valid for all SINGLE PILOT NON-HIGH PERFORMANCE SINGLE AND MULTI-ENGINE LAND AEROPLANES GROUP 1 IFR...

Is that right? I thought it would mention 2 crew or high performance

Ummm you say you just wrote your exams

Just kiddin with you :D Anything high performance or requiring two crew, you have to be type rated on, then it will show up on you lic ie. no blanket rating for high performance two crew planes

now that u have the A's your able to obtain a type rating (often confused with a PPC)

The ATPL lets u act as PIC on a min 2 crew machine like a Beech 1900 or A320.

So once u have a Type rating you will see on the back of your Licence

all SINGLE PILOT NON-HIGH PERFORMANCE SINGLE AND MULTI-ENGINE LAND AEROPLANES GROUP 1 IFR... And A320, BE02 , ETC.......

or whatever you get typed on and that type rating will be on your licence forever.

Now go get those resumes out

Cheers

Thanks fellas!

I forgot about that part. It still says "AA" at the front of all those numbers so I'm happy :D

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.
