I'd be surprised if anyone reported a different location this year.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Came back from a 4 day overseas trip the night before.

Tired as hell.

Wifey wakes me up at 10 am in a panic watching the news downstairs. I was still in the fog.

It took me about 2 hours to make sense of it all, but hey I am slow.........

Changed the world. Sure has hell changed mine. Company went caput of course, found out by reading a newspaper that i did not have a job anymore.

It is what it is.

Wife was feeding #2, woke me up. I said those are great graphics, second plane hit the tower, wife handed me the football, then went and barfed. My thoughts were "DumbF@#$ just took the gloves off"

That would be conceived -- just like the spike in babies 9 months after the total "black out" eastern US and parts of Ontario in the 60's

4am departure out of JFK on a CX 747, landed in YVR just as the shite hit the fan.
I flew back to JFK about a week later, went down to ground zero the next afternoon... an experience that is still difficult to put into words. Nearly two decades later I can still remember every single detail of that walk.

I don't think I even want to know how they are "teaching" that.... No doubt using it as a way to get the kids to dance around the flag and take it in the rear from the government at any time and for any reason and without question.

The biggest damage done to America wasn't on 9/11, it was on the changes made to America after that date, the "terrorists" won, they got the US to burn its own constitution and change their way of life based on the actions of a few idiotic religious nut jobs.
So true, So true. I know my parents said the same.... And just for those of you that would love to hear this.... I wasn't even BORN YET.

As Canadians or living in Canada we have little understanding of the mindset south of 49. I spent a lot of time down there doing union business and I must say there was not a day that went by that 9/11 was not mentioned and mentioned numerous times in one day. We have no idea of the underlying hysteria, as non americans, that exists. It scared them deeply and as Canadians we have little understanding how deep patriotism runs down there. Canada does not give us a frame of reference to judge their reaction.
