Really??? I've heard nothing but good.
Popped in this summer and they were very very friendly.

I did 55hrs with them in Oct ' 06, and I have nothing but rave reviews about Trevor and his operation. The terrain in the area offers everything from high alpine lakes, short lakes, long lakes, glassy water, good and bad wx, and hundreds of coves and nooks in the lake to practice approaches on. I spent a month in Kelowna to do the hrs, and Trevor even organized a place to rent before i got there. The 172xp and 180 were in great condition and obviously well care for. I would highly recommend Air Hart as a school and plane to return there for some recurrent training this summer. any other q's, pls feel free to pm me.

I did the 50 hour program in the summer of 2003 at Air-Hart. It was fantastic.

Re: Air Hart, float rating
I was there in the fall of 2001 (yes I'm dating myself now). Right after 9/11, so unfortunately the 50 hours program wasn't enough to guarantee a job at the time with the new insurance minimums. This had nothing to do with Trevor and his program though. I imagine the operators are changing their hiring minimums now with the way the industry is. (I had to take a job on wheels for my first unfortunately)
It was excellent equipment and instructors. Probably the most enjoyable part of my training for my commercial licence. Everyone there was friendly and professional. The flying I was exposed to there taught me a hell of a lot more than running circuits in Winnipeg. Or renting a float plane in Selkirk and doing 7 hours on the shore of Lake Winnipeg. I highly recommend going to Kelowna and using Trevors program if you get the opportunity.
