YQT Plane Spotting....
Curious if anyone knows of some good plane spotting, other than right beside National right near the button of 25. Would like to find a decent open spot of the field. Thanks!

Roof of the Travel Lodge. Just don't let Matthew catch you up there.

Just go down the road where the Ace center is located. 2 years ago it was an alright place to go check it out, although im not sure if there are more buildings that been put up since then.
heck if you want just go in the ace center upstairs, they have a glass wall in the cafeteria that runs parallel to 25,07

It will always be the Airlane Motor Hotel to me...
A few more good spots are:
* the back lot of the Valhalla Inn;
* corner of Willard Avenue and Terminal Streets;
* Glenoah Avenue (off 15th Side Road);
* and, my favourite, from the tower cab on Hector Dougall Way.

Go hang out in the old NACAir Hangar parking lot. They aren't using it.
Wasaya might try and charge you rent though.

Let it be known I just wanted to know of some good picture taking locations!!!!
Re: YQT Plane Spotting....
If you have a good zoom, in the summer you might get a unique perspective from the top of Mt McKay

Check out the old ski hill on mount mckay You can drive to the bottom of the hill and walk up the old ski hill. Perfect view of the whole field. It's to the west of the lookout area.
