Anyone else get a letter from A.R.C. Accounts Recovery Corporation trying to collect your medical fee?
This outfit has offices all across Canada and one in Seattle.
Interesting that they would change collection agencies.
TC obviously has made a deal with them because the letter states that payment made directly to TC will not be accepted.
I wonder what happened to that collection agency in Toronto?
And last but not least does anyone know of any other Federal Government department trying to collect through a private enterprise collection agency?

The most difficult thing about flying is knowing when to say no.
After over a half a century of flying I can not remember even one trip that I refused to do that resulted in someone getting killed because of my decision not to fly.

If you reneged on paying this medical, how many more years would you have to live, ., to be able to get them on the interest?

They haven't bugged me for a while now... then again transport took it off my taxes this year... gee, I thought they couldn't do that and that's why there were using the collection agency.
I may be in violation anyways... haven't updated my address for the last two moves... haven't flown in that time either... @#$! 'em.

The collection agency is for those of us who do not get tax returns, because we don't pay them more than is absolutely necessary.They haven't bugged me for a while now... then again transport took it off my taxes this year... gee, I thought they couldn't do that and that's why there were using the collection agency.
Of course to do that you should be self employed.

Its been 4 years since I've filed a tax return. TC is pissed. They can take the money from the same gov't that has "jacked" me every 2 weeks for the past 4 years.
