Wasaya and Exchange Income Corp ...
More big news today for Exchange Income Corp. ???? Aquisition complete of Wasaya Airways ???? Another addition to the stable of Perimeter, Keewatin, Calm Air ... best news for the Perimeter & Keewatin drivers is that Wasaya is ALPA ... can you say common employer????
All you non-union EIF drivers better get your act together and get the ALPA reps on speed dial - you're getting left behind.

Re: Wasaya and Exchange Income Corp ...
I’m missing your point, Calm Air has been represented by ALPA for years, how does the Wasaya and common employer revelation change things?
My other question is simply one word, source?
With respect to EIC and an “acquisition” are you sure? My understanding of EIC is that they are investment angels, in exchange for capital investment they negotiate preferred dividends from the entities that they invest into. Not so much a purchase as an influx of capital to allow for growth.
Dash 8’s for Wasaya have been rumoured for the last several years, perhaps a deal with EIC is the way to achieve them.

The bosses at PAG have a detailed plan to expand routes to exotic destinations and will compete with Skyservice and Transat for routes out of Winnipeg to southern hot spots. We'll put the "rocket booster" back to work on the old metro III's and wait for Transport to approve an in house engineering design (it's so secret, I've only been told it's in the works) to make the III's take off from 2000 foot strips with 19 people on board. After all that, Calm Air will become one of our partners, Keystone will fold and Fast Air will long have run out of town. As for SkyNorth, we'll throw a few scraps to them just to hear them on the radio going into and out of Island Lake.
Are you trying to beat this guy?

Other than the rockets on the Metro III, that post is entirely accurate.......to the very last detail.

Subject line should be Exchange Income Corp puts Wasaya out of business. Wait for it.....
Common employer. Right. Ask the Air Ontario boys how that one works.
