oh man... I cant believe they put a bag over the YQA spy (I mean) WXcam. They were practicing motorcade runs on the ramp there Monday, so perhaps a few VIPs landing there after all. A bit of action up at Downsview as well, but think that is just staging. Should be seeing US marine heli's doing dry runs over TO tomorrow. I'm just back from a walking the dog (King & Spadina) Cant spit without hitting a cop down here (no, I didn't try)

Well, I give in. The ultra top secret security measures worked flawlessly and now I'm being incarcerated in Gitmo!

This thread was started with no political agenda attached to it. Aviators were curious to know about the airplanes involved in this spectacle. Thats ALL...
Just as a few others have stated, the movements of the operation should'nt be on a public forum. Whats your problem with that????

Did get a nice shot of IL76 RA-76638, which has been parked at the "North Lounge" since Monday. There's also been an IL-96 and even an IL-62 earlier today. The other cargo haulers returned back to Mother Russia for more equipment and personnel, I suspect.

You obtuse wannabe adult! I posted a list of aircraft one is “most likely" to see over the course of the G20 summit. Yes, "AVIATORS" find this information interesting. You decided to "take charge" and patrol like a weekend rent-a-cop telling us what should and should not be allowed in a public forum. May i remind you we live in a democracy? My original intent is evident, take a look at my post. You responded by calling me a "retard" which in all fairness, makes you look like a hypocrite.

On that note, you can leave me to decide what I should and should not do. You are not our totalitarian commander in these forums. So to answer your question with a question, we all want to know more about the aviation related activities with regards to this world stage event.... "What's your problem with that"?

So, you are saying that I shouldn't post all the pics, and vids that I have taken of the comings, and goings at YQA?
Why should we not post public info? There certainly is no law against it.

Anyone want to see the military base, and all the rcmp choppers/planes, and miliary choppers/planes?
How about some of the VIP's travelling in limo's being escorted by dozens of cop bikes, and cars, and of coarse dozens of undercover cadillac escalades? :roll:
Why would anyone have a probem with these being posted?

They just gave YQA a fly by, I snapped a couple of pics, then they separated into two groups and one group went straight north, the other north east.

EVERYONE POST YOUR PICS ...VIDS...ETC. Many of us find this very cool :) We have only spent 1 Billion on security thus far... so for someone to tell me I cannot try to enjoy it (aviation is after all my hobby), well , simply just go shove it.

This is a world stage event, and believe it or not, the media is causing more troubles for security than a few little aviation hugging nerds :).

I did...I did,,, thought it was just propwash LOL. Anyways, more I think about it, makes sense to drop Obama off early friday AM with a 757 at YQA for a shorter heli ride to Deerhurst, that way he can sleep in an extra half hour. Ok, enough speculation...I'll wait for the pics

In light of the recent seismic activity I heard parliament approved another $2B to jack up the infrastructure just built onto vibration isolation curbs, lest the ever important G8 people vibrate around like electric football players like the rest of us.

Was working hard laying interlocking brick today because of planning to do that work this week due to not wanting to go to town and not able to fly and had helicopters flying overhead all day long. No idea what they were because I just don't know but I'm sure on the last lap when I was having an ice cold one that the one guy in the back smiled when I waved and held up my beer. Please show your photos. I'm sure that this website is likely being monitored and if they don't like what is being posted for whatever reason... It'll get yanked... I doubt from anyone that has ever previously posted here irregardless of their security clearances and information thereto privy.
