Any bets on whether BC Ferries will be running?

Must be hell ashore on a day like that.

Wow! Hang on, there, inch!
BTW, congrats on the renewal- I hear it went very well. Sorry we didn't get a chance to sit down, I wasn't blowing you off, just super busy. Next time, OK?

Oops, I gave the impression that I was up the coast... I'm hanging out on the south coast. Just observing the nasty weather observations online. I'll stop by again 'Tids...

And STL gives the impression that cactus grow on the south coast.

I was a paramedic in Prince Rupert in the early eighties, did some very scary flight up there in the wind.
We do have cactus around our part here in the deep south

BPF, maybe in the past, but we (both operators) don't run it like that anymore.
The weather up here never ceases to amaze me in its ferocity. There was one night last year when I got up for a bathroom brake and checked the weather out of curiosity because the house sounded like it was about to depart the fix... Sartine Island had been in the 90s, gusting over 100, knots that is, for three hours straight at that time (it was about 2:30am if I remember right) and it spent nearly 24 hours with the gusts hitting over 70 kt.
Impressive!

Re: A lovely day on the North Coast of BC...
Sounds almost like Hope Island.
Lived there for six years... averaged 350 days a year of nothing less than 30kt. lol
Always a fun ride into Bull Harbour through that narrow gap into it.

Wind? What is that? I forgot... Six years in a country with no wind...Single runways, active both ways, at the discretion...
