Just took a look at this ad (in the jobs section), and decided to check out their web page.

Great news, apparently there is a shortage of pilots right now! And this is forecast to last the next 10 years!

Take it easy they say it will happen in the next ten years not tomorrow

. Ten years.........you can only buy stuff you need more than ten years to pay for so go get a great big house and you'll be all set for the shortage!!

I really wish the Flight Schools could find a nicer way to sell their product than to out right mislead people with these heavily spun "studies".

All they're doing is cheaping this industry.

JP, maybe you should re-read the page...

There has never been a better time in the history of aviation to enter this exciting career than right now. With the continuing retirement rate of pilots in the industry today, it is forecast that there will be a shortage of pilots for the next 10 years. The number of pilots required to fill current commercial aviation positions is at an all-time high.

I added some emphasis a la Blastor, in areas which I think are mis-leading. The last sentence could be completed with "The number of pilots currently available to fill said positions, far exceeds the vacancies."

The way that they write it they make it sound like it will be on going for 10 years.

Has anybody sent them an e-mail to their e-mail address. Think of the number of poeple on here, maybe they would come up with a better way to advertise. Just a thought.

Looks like some of the finest aviators in the industry in the video. You'd think they'd tuck in their t-shirts for the video; I may have seen a bbq stain on the one guy's shirt as well.

I feel like vomiting when I listen to that sales pitch.
