It's part of the STOL kit and the 5600lb upgross, both of which this plane had.

Great link about the life vests. It's great to see operators implementing TSB recommendations before TC pushes them to.

TMC did not have the STOL kit -- certainly not the Baron kit. I'm guessing the upgross it had was the 5370lb version. For a while in the early and mid 2000s it had the large flow generators on the wing but they had been removed prior to the accident.It's part of the STOL kit and the 5600lb upgross, both of which this plane had.
