Vedalo HD Sunglasses

Post by jpar84 »

Hi Folks,

I am considering ordering a pair of vedalo hd shades from VIP pilot. They are now on sale for $200 down from $250. I was wondering if anyone here has a pair and is willing to give a brief product review. Still a pretty hefty price for shades, are the benefits worth it?

Cheers

I've got a pair. They're really nice glasses and they're extremely light. They fit very nicely under my headset. They definitely create a little extra contrast and I find traffic easier to spot when I'm wearing them so with that alone they're worth the money. My favourite pair of sunglasses though were my Serengetis. I bought them at Costco for $110 and they were the best glasses I ever had. I wore them in all sky conditions.....until I dropped them from a 10 ft ladder.....

Anyway, hope that helps!

Cheers,
Chax

Hey Chax,

Thanks a lot, I'm glad to hear you like them! I will probably pull the trigger in the next few days. I do have a costco around the corner from me where I used to get my perscription shades, I'll check on the serengetis.

Cheers

Not exactly sure to be honest. They were brown and photocromic. That's all I remember.
