Where do you want to end up?

Just wondering where everyone is wanting to be at the end of their careers.
If you select "Other" could you specify where?

I voted for charter, with the idea of executive charter in mind. Something like a Falcon 10 or a Citation for Movie star brats or PGA tour members. Something that would keep me in the air alot and getting into as many different airports as possible. Plus I like the idea of meeting the people I'm flying for, not just packing a bunch of faceless people into a bird, flying to the same airport and getting them off for the next herd. On the opposite side of the coin though, airline guys get the sweet Airliners and stews : D

Owning a few companies and charging 30K for training per pilot.

Now that's where the money is.

I've got some competition... Fire Bombing. Maybe I want to do that just because I haven't. You just can't beat the smokey barkin' starts on 2000cid+ radials. :D

Fire bombing would rule, but I also think in the "other" category flying the tilt-rotors is gonna be pretty cool. Verticle capability, yet still able to do sweet enroute and IFR... I think it will be damn cool. Also probably excusive, so decent money most likely. Get your heli license to go with your IFR time and you'll be laughing on the cutting edge, well in theory.

P.s. Do your conversion in Alberta, the government there practically gives them away with tuition credits and student loan write-offs. Its insane!

The Walmart greeter or that guy at Wendy's who passes out the mints and cleans a few tables. To old to be a golf pro or gigallo. Opps sorry that wasn't one of the answers.

Ok....kinda off topic but....

Shouldn't it be "Water Bombing"? I'm pretty sure "Fire Bombing" is what the allies did to Dresden, etc.

What's wrong with medevac?....EMS...earn money sleeping...lol. I think flying a S-76 out of City Centre would be a great job. Now all I need to do is stop wasting my money on fixed wing and hop into an R22.

Flying Low it is actually called Aerial Forest Fire Suppression if you want to get technical. You can't actually call it Water Bombing because very few fires anymore are actually fought with water. Mostly it is chemicals, like long term retardent or foam retardent.

The land based Air Tankers dropped Fire Retardent and pretty much all Scoopers are dropping a Foam Retartent. After we scoop up a load of water we inject foam concentrate into the water tanks. When we drop the agitation created by dropping the load into the wind stream causes it to mix and turn to foam before it hits the ground.

The only time we are dropping straight water is when we are close to water sources such as shorlines etc. or we run out of foam part way through a mission.
