It already has type certification so I doubt it would be testing..

When I chucked bags at YVR long long time ago we use to receive Continental and a few other US operators brand new 777 straight from Boeing. When I asked why they wouldn't just fly them to ORD or SFO and start revenue flights, the pilots said it had to do with saving $$ on sales taxes.

So that would be my guess with this flight, most likely destined for a US operator who wanted to save a few bucks on taxes.

Just caught a glimpse of this bird sleeping outside Kellys> Perhaps it's doin a cold soak as YWG is goin down to -12 tonight and that is probably the coldest place a G650 will ever have to overnight. Or maybe Peter Nygard is trading in the Old 727-100 N-force!
