747SP. I think 777-300ER is bigger.

How about an Airbus A-400-M
Scratch that, one hasn't landed in Canada yet.

Re: biggest registered aircraft flying in Canada?
Isn't the mtow of the 747-400 series 870,000 lbs?
Re: biggest registered aircraft flying in Canada?
Yes, in that ballpark. Are there an 744's here though? Are the former AC birds parked in the desert and still owned by them, or are they in service somewhere else now?BGH wrote:Isn't the mtow of the 747-400 series 870,000 lbs?
Re: biggest registered aircraft flying in Canada?
AC doesn't fly any 747s anymore. I know they are leasing out quite a few 767s so maybe some of their 747s are flying with other airlines.
Re: biggest registered aircraft flying in Canada?
Air Canada no longer has 747s. Not sure where they all went, but I know a couple of the -400s from Canadian last I heard flying in Argentina.
As far as I know Canada's largest aircraft right now are the 777-300ERs.
