ELT in RDU

Anyone fly in or out of RDU today? About 75NM NE of the airport on the arrival at about 1830 EST there was an ELT signal that everyone was picking up. Eventually we caught some chatter on 121.50, an aircraft made contact with another apparently on the ground somewhere and not at an airport, they were relaying messages to center that there were no injuries. That's all I caught as we switched freq's and made our final descent into RDU.

I was just curious as to the nature of this incident/accident and if anyone else had more details.
