What GA Airplane Were You Meant to Fly? (AOPA Quiz)
Found this quiz on AOPA's site. Some of the questions are pretty hokey, but fun to see the result. I scored the
Mooney 201

Re: What GA Airplane Were You Meant to Fly? (AOPA Quiz)
This is too funny:
I've flown a P-51D, and didn't really like it.
Like making a sperm donation, I guess some
people might enjoy it, but I just didn't find
it a whole lot of fun.

I own a chrysler caravan, so that sounds about right.

Mooney 201 as well. Hmpf.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

As much as my first boss disagrees, AOPA thinks I'm well suited to this beastie:
Re: What GA Airplane Were You Meant to Fly? (AOPA Quiz)
I think it's broken...
"Cessna's top-of-the-line piston single could lift more and fly farther in greater comfort than its contemporaries. Six seats and a powerful, six-cylinder Continental engine made the sleek Cessna 210 a high-flying, high-wing alternative—and a natural step-up for Cessna pilots."
Edit:
Changed a few answers that I was fairly ambiguous about and it came up with this:
The Cub Crafter's Carbon Cub SS brought stellar performance and excitement to the light sport aircraft category with its rocket-like takeoff and climb. It improves the Super Cub with modern materials and creature comforts but retains its strength and utility.
Sounds like more fun than the 210

I have considered buying one of those. Even though I'm supposed to fly a 201. How accurate is this?Shiny Side Up wrote:Hmmm, apparently I'm a Globe Swift kind of guy.

Piper meridian. Which is close, i would not mind Cessna van for utility.
Re: What GA Airplane Were You Meant to Fly? (AOPA Quiz)
I was hoping for a TBM900 and instead I get a Piper Meridian . I don't know what that says about me but I don't think it's good.

Re: What GA Airplane Were You Meant to Fly? (AOPA Quiz)
Wait, is it a 201 or a 20L? I think I got it because I like the 911 targa. I'm going to redo the test.
Ok I switched to a land rover and got the Cessna 210. Makes more sense but I'd rather have a Porche.

Re: What GA Airplane Were You Meant to Fly? (AOPA Quiz)
The quiz is obviously broken because it says my airplane is the Beechcraft Debonair, not the aerobatic one, not even the V tail.
Re: What GA Airplane Were You Meant to Fly? (AOPA Quiz)
It gave me a G36 Bonanza. Ew.
Now I want to go play with the test until I get Globe Swift...
