It's fast air although the call sign makes no sense for a Winnipeg based charter / medevac company that mainly flies to reserves in MB

Re: polar bear medevac callsign
I find it a little greating too. Maybe a stickied thread in the general section with a quick reference/primer on common word usage, grammar, punctuation errors would help a few people? I've seen them in other forums. Don't know if anybody ever refers to them though.Illya Kuryakin wrote:There, they're, and their?

Did you mean "grating"? Making comments on spelling and grammar is always risky unless you're perfect yourself.

I even put it in italics, in case someone didn't initially recognize my little attempt at humor..CID wrote:Did you mean "grating"? Making comments on spelling and grammar is always risky unless you're perfect yourself.
In any case though, I'm far from perfect myself when it comes to writing.
Re: polar bear medevac callsign
Correct spelling and grammar is somewhat of a lost skill (or 'art', or whatever).
With modern smartphones, tablets and computers complete with auto-correct features, the requirement to really know how to spell a word correctly is diminished.
It makes for some interesting aircraft journey log reading some days... let alone the resumes
