Ok...but what I really want to know is where is 182driver? There must be another mullet episode lurking out there somewhere!

Sounds like it could get expensive, which probably then cuts into the hefty fuel budget ?
I was lucky, I am back on the road and the only damage was the two brake pads on the left front that did not release properly and over heated before I could find a place to pull off the highway.....anyhow it only cost $370.00.

Fuel is fifty cents to sixty cents a mile in this thing PDW.
Who leaves Kamloops in the summer to go to Ontario?
My memories of Kamloops are not really pleasant......spent far to many days sitting on the tanker base waiting for fires.

Take a route through the USA. More interesting than driving through Alberta, Sask, Manitoba and Western Ontario and you'll save a few dollars on gas.

Generally that is true.....but once you are over 75 years old the health insurance is just too expensive.

I seriously looked at an RV. Figured it'd be cheaper to use Holiday Inn Expresses. I don't think people camp (that way, at least) to save money.

OK 50 to 60 cents per mile ... at Kamloops prices you're getting about 4 kilometers out of a liter regular.

Next couple of days don't see a headwind going to Calgary, slightly favorable maybe, so reducing the fuel flow a bit more when approaching up-to/over the crests can pay off some ... where the down hill starts off slower, a slightly longer duration of acceleration from gravity (where the 454 is only sipping lightly).

Don't worry.. maybe it's just Cousin Eddie that's missing.
I saw your warning post back in the winter that you were going to change your account.. and I'd even noted a few similarities between Beefitarian and Pop n Fresh, but still hadn't twigged.
Judging by your ability to change your posting style, I suspect you also have what it takes to to change eating habits. Habits are habits, right? (I know.. different reward structures for different habits)

Reward structure, like ice cream? :)
