You might also want to add Air Mikisew, and none of the above.

Just a suggestion.

Cheers!

I'll add mikisew for humour purposes. I don't imagine we'll see many 3yr ramp vetrans voting them to the top.

They treat their pioeple fine, but they'd have to treat me like the king of england to get me to stay 2+ years on the ramp :P

I guess people like the thought of a heated office with a rolly chair better than -40C loading bags of concrete and carnation 48's. Even if it means a longer wait.

Nobody voted for transwest? hmm.. I wonder why? hahahahaha

The problem with most companies that being.. a lot of ramp jobs are in 1) crummy locations 2) they don't pay even remotly close to well..

I did alright when I worked the ramp. I supose 75hrs/week at pretty much any pay rate would make you some decent money.

From what I've been told, Perimeter is a great place to do your time.
4 days on, 4 days off, no large freighter work, and you live in the "big " city.

That's not necessarily true. Theres many of us who live in YTH. The vast majority of rampies up here work a 7on/7off schedule with a minimum of 12 hour shifts. And we do have freighters too on the Metro and BE99. I'm sure loading 3000 lbs of cargo onto them when it's below -30C will not be fun!

You think loading a BE99 is tough? Try handbombing 18000lbs of drill equipment into a DHC-5 @ -40. BE99's + metros are for kids.
