List of most common aircraft and operators seen by ATC
Just leafing through the "Air Traffic Designators" Manual. I know the type of aircraft and operators will vary widely for High vs. Low En Route and even by Region. I'm looking for a list of something like the top 100 most common aircraft and 100 most common operators for both the High and Low En Route portions for the CYWG region. I know this information must exist somewhere but just don't know how to find it. If anyone can point me to the right resource, or possibly if someone has been on course and has access to electronic flash cards that could be shared. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe start by going to
http://flightaware.com/live/airport/CYWG
Then browse through arrivals & departures.
And note down all the types of aircraft & operators + designators & call signs.

Great resource suggestion. Didn't even think of that. Thanks.

I believe you can also get the information of flightaware in .xls format (Excel). So you could make a quick search for specific operators or types through period "x - y". Save some of the foot work.

Are you going through training @ UND? If you are, PM me. I did the same program, but it was many years ago.
