Training area for Nova Scotia candidates

#1 Post by rspencer38 » Mon Apr 25, 2016 5:01 pm

Quick question - Where do Nova Scotia residents go once selected for training? Are they sent to Moncton ACC?

Initial training done in Moncton ACC anyway.

If you are IFR of course you will continue on with your on the job training at the ACC.

If you are VFR you will be sent to one of the three towers in the region - Moncton, Fredericton, or Halifax (but virtually not possible for it to be Halifax, so Freddy or Moncton)

If you are FSS your on the job training will be wherever you end up getting stationed - a lot of options.

But yes, everything originally is done at the Moncton ACC.
