Moncton FIR opportunities

Anyone know what the prospects for Moncton FIR are? I've been in the pool for YQX for over a year and my time out is quickly approaching. Thinking of relocating to Halifax and possibly going through the process again for YQM area.

Im not sure of the opportunities available in halifax, but after talking with Joanne i was told that you have the best chance being accepted to Edmonton or Winniped FIRs as they are looking for the most people.

A VFR and FSS class just started in April and an IFR class just started last week at the Moncton ACC so I don't think there are any immediate training sessions coming up but I do believe over the next five years or so the plan is to have a strong hiring push and regular courses in the FIR.

What stream are in you in/interested in?

I am currently streamed IFR for YQX region. I think I would actually prefer VFR but certainly open to either stream.

Spoke with recruitment and they informed me that there is no scheduled course until April of 2017 for Moncton FIR. I will need to reapply after my current profile expires if I wish to try for that course.
