Is there a way to get a tour of Vancouver Area Control Centre or Tower?
Im doing my PPL and someone once said to me how insightful it is to get a tour of such a place.

It is, but to be honest, it'll be overwhelming the first time you see it. Have you toured the tower at your local airport yet? I highly recommend doing that first, so you will get a chance to talk to the guys there and learn what some of the stuff is, so you're not completely overwhelmed when you see YVR tower or the ACC.geneticistx wrote:Is there a way to get a tour of Vancouver Area Control Centre or Tower?

Think it's a great idea for CPL / IFR students or after. I've done it at an ACC and learned lots.

BCGA has occasional tours scheduled. There were a few last year at YYJ, YVR, etc., and I'm sure there will be more this year.
