AIM SAR 4.10 mentions that some FFS are equipped with VHF Direction Finders, and that aerodromes with the equipment installed will be noted in the CFS.
I've been trying to find examples of this, but so far no such chance.
Also, am I interpreting it right when I understand that an aerodrome with a RADIO freq is a Flight Service Station?

For stations with VDF there will be a VDF listing in the COMM section. Here are some examples: Red Deer and Inuvik (FSS), Muskoka (RCO and remote VDF), Whitehorse (TWR and FSS). You are correct that when a RADIO entry is present there is FSS on-site, however, some towers also have FSS that operate when the tower is closed. This is reflected by a rdo listing under the MF.
