Avmax Group Inc. is looking for a Technical Asset Manager for its Leasing division

Reporting

The Technical Asset Manager reports directly to the Technical Director.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

• The Technical Asset Manager will work directly with the Technical Director providing technical support for the management of leased aircraft and serve as the contact for maintenance projects in Avmax Facilities and oversee and approve work scopes for the overhaul or exchange of aircraft components.
• Provide technical expertise for contractual decisions relating to leased aircraft for; lease returns, lease deliveries, aircraft repossession and aircraft purchases.
• Working with the audit group develop work scope for the return to service and lease delivery requirements for aircraft feet.
• Provide technical support for the management of leased aircraft.
• Provide technical expertise for contractual decisions relating to leased aircraft for; lease returns, lease deliveries, aircraft repossession and aircraft purchases.
• Liaise with customers on technical/ contractual aspects of leased aircraft.
• Management and tracking of the assets' major components (Props and Gear, APU). Assist the Engine Asset Director with tracking and assistance as required.
• Responsible for maintenance reserves claim evaluation and technical diligence.
• Provide evaluation and approval of maintenance reserve work
• Provide advisory services on all technical matters supporting aircraft leasing, purchases and sales transactions.
• Assist in conducting technical audits
• Assist the marketing and operations departments during aircraft transitions.
• Recommend and implement procedural changes to ensure best practices in the management of lease requirements, including compliance with covenants, reporting requirements, return conditions and other terms, and timely and accurate execution of all financial obligations.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed AME M1/M2, endorsed on Dash 8 all series & CRJ preferred.
• Possess the aptitude to quickly understand our client's business and operational activities and capabilities.
• Possess excellent communication skills in English and be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.
• Most possess superb relationship management skills, build trust and credibility are essential to enable inter- facing with several people from diverse backgrounds, nationalities and cultures.
• Possess the aptitude to quickly understand our client's business and operational activities and capabilities.
• Be resourceful with a flexible outlook, can multi-task to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
• Must have an exceptional attention to detail.
• Solid organization skills, with ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office programs
• Most hold a valid Canadian passport and able to travel internationally without restrictions.

Experience

• At least 10+ years' work experience in a senior or lead maintenance role.
• Previous experience in a similar aviation asset management role and/ or management role in an international environment.
