The Captain serves Northern Air Charter and it's customers by working professionally in a team environment ensuring customer safety and satisfaction and assists the Chief Pilot in complying with Company requirements and Canadian regulations.
Responsible for all duties as described in the COM and SOP manual
Towing aircraft, fueling, and assisting ground services personnel
Aircraft cleaning interior and exterior
Perform check-in, baggage handling and cargo manifests
Assist other business units as required
Attendance and participation in ground and flight training programs, safety programs and pilot/staff meetings
Available by telephone during shift
Carry out Captain flight duties as assigned by the Flight Operations Department
Consistently demonstrate a can-do attitude by focusing on exceeding customer needs
Any other tasks as requested by the Chief Pilot
Successful completion of all Company and Transport Canada Exams required for the Captains position
Highly motivated and detail oriented with a focus on safety and customer service
Valid CPL, (or ATPL as required) Category 1 Medical, passport, driver’s license
Excellent oral and written communication skills
1200hrs Total Time
Previous experience in a Charter or Scheduled Airline Service or equivalent
Note: Preference will be given to candidates with time on type
Full time, salaried position, 2 weeks on 1 week off
